Carey Price Understands The Meaning Of TANK

What a beautiful game last night for our lord and savior Mr. Price.

 Carey faced 24 shots, and he knew exactly what had to be done at this point of the season.....let in as many as possible!

 Forget the fact that your team just put up 56 shots at home.  Was I even alive the last time the Habs put up 56 shots in a game?

 I have no idea what Drouin and Pacioretty were thinking scoring that late in the game.  The 2 points to the opposing team were nearly in hand!

 Thank god we had Carey Price in net to bail us out and get the Islanders those 2 huge points.  You can't give up those 2 points at home.  Would be a huge mistake!   

 A big shout out to John Tavares (who should be a Hab by now if not for our GM). for that OT goal.

 Onto the next one.  Who wants 2 points?

As my friend AngryHabsFan eluded to already, yesterday was the end of the world as we know it for Sens fans. Matt Cooke's skate caught Karlsson in the Achilles tendon last night on a scuffle in the corner. First off don't even think that this was Matt Cooke being a dirty player and that he did this on purpose. It was just one of those freak plays that happen. No timeline has been given yet for Karlsson's return but I think its safe to say that he won't be back this season. Hopefully he can return from this injury and still be a great player. We already have Michalek playing on robotic knees so hopefully EK can get a hold of Milo's doctor. Speaking of Michalek he also disappeared before the game last night with a mysterious undisclosed injury. No word on what exactly is the extent of his injury yet. So without Spezza, Michalek, Karlsson and Jared Cowen I think its safe to say we are fucked and need to focus on shipping out Gonchar at the deadline and going

Where did a decade go? I remember this game, and basically being on my knees throughout most of it.  When Laich scores the late goal in the 3rd I almost hurled, and then on top of that we take a penalty! The ride Halak gave us in 2010 will never be matched!  41 saves in a Game 7! No idea how Sportsnet isn't airing this one tonight!?  I'm surprised they aren't airing random 2016 Blue Jays baseball games instead. I don't need 80s and 90s game all week.  Mix in some modern classics like this!
