  1. The Bruins defeated the top team in the west to move up the east standings.  Perhaps a first round exit may not be coming down the pipe for the Bruins.  Or Matthews and Marner combine for the most playoff points in a series.  Who knows, won't be surprised either way.
  2. Canada beat both Russia and Switzerland to start the Mens World Curling Championships with a bang.
  3. Gronk showed up at Wrestlemania
  4. Major League baseball decided to start their season in Tampa Bay?  The Yankees got beat up pretty bad in what was a battle of the basement of the AL East.
  5. The Giants blew a late lead picking up where they left off from 2016 despite a couple of bombs from MB.

Iron Man 3 Is Awesome, So Are The Habs

So I've seen a period and a half of this series so far.... unacceptable.  But I did see Iron Man 3 last night to kick off the summer and it was AWESOME! Basically the Sens are in the drivers seat of this series.  Sunday night and Tuesday night are huge.  Montreal needs to win at least one of those games, and both if they want to control this series. Oh, and screw you Sun Media.  Nice front page, assholes! The Canucks are basically done and on their way to being swept out after an OT lose last night. The stupid Maple Leafs sucks and I refuse to watch their game tonight.  I really don't care who wins that series, they both are god awful teams.  If you want to watch a really good game check out the Ducks vs. Red Wings game tonight at 7:30, that'll be a beaut.  Go Saku! AHF NHL Playoff Bracket

With the March Madness NCAA Basketball tournament starting up tomorrow, people all over North America and abroad are filling out their brackets.  Even President Obama gets in on the action each year. Though my knowledge in sports lies pretty much in the world of hockey, I've been attempting brackets for the past six years.  This year my final four are: Kentucky, Syracuse, Missouri, and North Carolina. When it comes to the NHL nobody gets excited and fills out an NHL playoff bracket.  I am here to change that today. Since my creative juices are lacking in humour during this dismal time in Montreal, I thought I'd throw together an NHL bracket of my own based on the NHL Playoffs matches that would be happening if the season ended last night.
