LOSER Tonight and this afternoon will be an outright cluster&@$^.  I can't even begin to try to calculate who we are going to end up playing in the first round.  If we lose tonight it will be the Leafs, simple as that.  If we win and Boston loses their game to Washington then things will get interesting tomorrow night in the finale game of Ottawa vs Boston.  So basically win for drama and lose to play the Leafs.   My heart says lose and sweep the Leafs out in the first round for what would be revenge for every Saturday night game of my childhood living in Ontario.  My sensible self says win and end up playing an easier team seeded way lower than us.  It is going to be an interesting 40 hours ahead.  Oh, and if we draw the Sens in the first round I'd be all over some tickets, so kinda hoping for that too. Gametime is 7PM on CBC. Go Habs Go!

Iron Man 3 Is Awesome, So Are The Habs

So I've seen a period and a half of this series so far.... unacceptable.  But I did see Iron Man 3 last night to kick off the summer and it was AWESOME! Basically the Sens are in the drivers seat of this series.  Sunday night and Tuesday night are huge.  Montreal needs to win at least one of those games, and both if they want to control this series. Oh, and screw you Sun Media.  Nice front page, assholes! The Canucks are basically done and on their way to being swept out after an OT lose last night. The stupid Maple Leafs sucks and I refuse to watch their game tonight.  I really don't care who wins that series, they both are god awful teams.  If you want to watch a really good game check out the Ducks vs. Red Wings game tonight at 7:30, that'll be a beaut.  Go Saku! And if you're really looking for some exciting action then why not watch the annual Kentucky Derby!  Probably the most intense final 10 seconds in sports.  ...

My UFC 231 Recap - From The Sold Out Scotiabank Arena

Saturday night I was in Toronto for my second ever UFC event.   I used to watch UFC back around 2009 when the sport was exploding.  I slowly lost interest until December 2016 when I attended UFC 206 in Toronto.  I again followed UFC fairly closely until 2018 when again I found myself losing interest, other than a huge fight card with Conor.   Saturday night was interesting.  Was it overall as good of a fight card as UFC 206?  I don't think so. The prelims were awful for a casual fan like myself.  Every fight went the distance.  The most interesting part was the first round of the first fight of the Prelim card Theodorou vs. Anders.  A fight in which Anders totally won, but Theodorou was given the hometown advantage by the judges.   After a two hour bore fest it was time for the PPV to start. Thiago Santos threw some wicked bombs in the first fight earning him a KO win.   Then Canadian ...
