It's A Good Friday

'Thank god I'm out of this hell hole'

Holy crap.  We just played the two best teams in the East (besides us) and came away with 2 points.  Didn't really expect that, and didn't expect to be sitting in 2nd place on March 29th.  At the risk of sounding lame I won't say Saturday night is a must win, but it's a must not lose.

Also, next Wednesday is trade deadline day.  I think we all agree to move Easter Monday to Wednesday next week.

Back to the past.  Against Pittsburgh on Tuesday night we played amazing.  If it wasn't for Crosby's perfect goal we probably could have won that game in overtime, the shots were flying like crazy.  And since the Penguins now have acquired the 2010 Canadian Olympic roster why are teams even still trying?

Against the Bruins we played pretty well and whoever bought tickets to be at that game certainly got their monies worth.  Fast paced, come from behind goals, a long shootout, a rookie netting the winner, and Budaj coming in and playing the role of lord Jesus christ.  If only the game wasn't in Boston..

Today the world stops and reflects on the passing of a true legend.  Someone who gave everything for the love of his people.  In his thirties he did more for his people than can ever be thanked for.  He is a legend among men, and today he moves on to his next world.  Calgary will miss you, Jarome.
