Ohhh Babbyyy

A rare Wednesday match up pits the Montreal Canadiens vs. the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Air Canada Centre in beautiful downtown Toronto.

The last time these two teams met was about 3 week ago in Montreal when something really bad happened that we no longer speak of, but in turn, sparked our awesomeness of the past couple of weeks.  Who wouldn't trade one bad night for two weeks of orgasmic hockey.

Revenge for that unspeakable night is in the cards tonight, and I for one am pumped!

Not only are we upgraded from TSN-Habs, the entire Wednesday night hockey broadcast on TSN will be live from the Air Canada Centre giving it a World Junioresque feel.  And if you look at some of the players on both teams rosters, it makes total sense.  It's like an international reunion.

Let's be honest the Leafs are not bad so far this year.  On the road they are even better.  Tonight, however, the Leafs will be at home in front of an empty building with fans chanting 'Lets Go Blue Jays' or sports beat writers who are too busy thinking about baseball.

Of course, from the Montreal media side of things, there have been a couple of distractions in the past 24 hours.  First Rene Bourque turned a cold into a concussion (probably from over sneezing), and then the Habs traded away Eric Cole to the Dallas Stars.  We at AngryHockeyFans responded by doing what any journalist would do and taking to Twitter to grab the story from someone else (usually Bobby Mac).

Also, the Leafs are favoured on Pro~Line.  Bad move OLG, Habs by TWO!

Don't forget to comment on this post of what beautiful lady you would like to see tonight after the game.  We will post photos here!

Game time is 7:30 PM on TSN Wednesday Night Hockey.

Follow @angryhabsfan (that's me) tonight on Twitter for live tweeting of the game.  I'll try to be funny.
